Berenice Marlohe

Berenice Lim Marlohe (born in Paris) is born in Paris and is a French actress from France. She is most famous for playing anti-heroine Bond girl Severine from the twenty-third James Bond film Skyfall. Her television credits include Pere et Maire Femmes de loi, and Equipe medicale d'urgence. She has played in the French comedy Un bonheur n'arrive jamais seul with Sophie Marceau although not appearing in the credits. She is also an Omega Watches brand ambassador. Berenice who is French Chinese descent and Cambodian ancestry was born on May 19th, 1979 in Paris France. Her family is a French middle-class home with the Chinese and Cambodian father. Her father is an ophthalmologist and her mother is an educator at school. Growing up in Paris her passion for art and culture grew. she spent a lot of her youth playing piano or drawing. Painting and music were both an obsession of hers which inspired her to go after her passion to pursue a profession. Jack Waltzer ran a Jack Waltzer workshop. Acting became her passion. She finished 10 years of studies through Paris Conservatory after this. Following her graduation from the Conservatory She auditioned for film roles. She landed her very first film part in The Discordance in 2007 shortly following. At the beginning in her professional career, she faced difficulties securing roles that would strengthen her character. The presence of the character in films had a significant impact on the industry. Inexperience caused her being disregarded by the vast majority of film agents and producers.
